Privacy
Information we collect
When you submit a nomination we collect the nominator's name, email address and phone number, and the nominee's name, county, organization and contact details, along with the written responses provided in the form. When you vote, we record the honoree selected and a limited technical record (such as a hashed network address) used only to deter automated voting.
How information is used
Nomination information is used solely by the awards selection committee to verify eligibility, contact nominees and nominators, and evaluate nominations. Voting records are used to tally community support. Contact information is never sold or shared for marketing.
What becomes public
Only honoree profile content approved for publication — name, organization, county, photograph and biography — appears on the public site. Nominator identities, contact details and committee scoring remain private.
Security and retention
Submissions are stored in a restricted database accessible only to authorized committee members. Records are retained for the duration of the awards cycle and archival recordkeeping.
Requests
To review, correct or withdraw information you submitted, contact the awards committee through the Contact page and reference the nominee's name.
